Sorting of RSS Feeds in BlogBridge
You can enable the sorting of feeds in guides and this way i.e. your most important feeds in a guide will show up first. A 'self-adapting' sorting of feeds in BlogBridge can i.e. be reached by sorting the feeds after the BlogBridge Starz and then by your visits to the feeds. This way you will see that feeds arrange themselves in an order which adopts automagically to your reading behavior.
To push an RSS feed up in the guide list you just have to add one or more of your golden personal BlogBridge Starz. If a feed becomes less important just withdraw BlogBridge Starz.
Filtering of RSS Feeds in BlogBridge
Hidden RSS Feeds: Right now (BlogBridge 5.1, March 2007) a discussion is going on what to do with 'hidden RSS feeds'. Right now hidden feeds are not polled/updated but this seems to be too drastic in some cases because this way hidden feeds will be hidden forever (until you change the preference). To see the actual discussion head over to the BlogBridge forum: "get latest" doesn't work when read feeds are hidden
- Invalid RSS Feeds in BlogBridge - Invalid RSS feeds are having problems. Reasons for that can be multiple. It is a good idea to mark them red so you can see at a glance if action is necessary.
- Fully read RSS Feeds in BlogBridge - RSS feeds with no unread articles might fade away because they don't need attention. Give them an appropriate color (yellow or orange) so that the more important RSS feeds stand out.
- Below Starz threshold of RSS Feeds in BlogBridge
- Zero Keyword Matches of RSS Feeds in BlogBridge
- Disabled RSS Feeds in BlogBridge Q: What are 'disabled' feeds? A: You can't delete a feed belonging to a reading list you are subscribed to (the feeds with antenna icon). The only way to remove them from the list is to disable and hide all disabled feeds with 'hidden' option in the preferences. Disabled (and now hidden also) feeds are never updated.
